On Wednesday, 17 June 2026, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Jasim Mohammed Abdo, Vice President of the University of Zakho for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Rizgar Saeed Hussein, Vice President of Soran University for Student Affairs, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the University of Zakho and Soran University concerning the provision and implementation of the Student Information System (SIS).

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide the Student Information System (SIS) for students at the University of Zakho. The system has been successfully utilized at Soran University for several years and has significantly facilitated the management of students’ academic and administrative procedures. The agreement also aims to enhance electronic services and strengthen the digital infrastructure of both universities through mutual cooperation and the exchange of expertise.
